I wanted to get away from teflon and this is the answer. Altho I have only used it a few times, and so far haven't used metal utensils (which are supposed to be OK), it is truly non-stick, easy to clean, and easy to handle. I am careful to follow instructions for before use and cleaning after use.Only negative, which is my own fault, is I would like a frying pan w/ a little higher sides to make larger portions of stir fry type meals. This is more for meat, omelettes, etc.I will likely buy more of these as my budget permits.

I love this pan and the whole line really but if you can find the line without the silver rivets that face the inside of the pan go with that. Reason I recommend that is because if you cook something say like scrambled eggs they are going to get stuck in the crack of the rivet and the pan and cleaning it out is very difficult.Besides that flaw this pan is 99% awesome.

We have two of the ScanPans now, the 8 and 10 1/4 inch pans. I have been extremely happy with them. We bought the 10 incher to make large omelette's and it is fantastic. Even without oil the eggs do not stick. Flipping the in half omelet is very easy. I plan on buying more of these products. The only down side is they are expensive. My wife has cystic fibrosis. We wanted a pan that would not stick and had absolutely no chemical off gassing or Teflon in it. These have been wonderful.
